Modbubble UK Limited (“ModBubble” or “we”) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy in relation to your access to and use of the “Service” or “Services” associated with the Mobile Application (“Mobile Application” or “app”) operated by Modbubble Limited its parent companies, subsidiaries, or affiliates (collectively “ModBubble” or “we”).
ModBubble is a social network supporting and enabling global and online communities of vehicle enthusiasts to share their passion for all things automotive through textual, video, audio and photographic content.
This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.
For purposes of this policy, the term “you” includes all visitors and registered users of the Mobile App or Website who are not yet customers, those who become customers, as well as those who do not become customers; whether you upload information to the Mobile App, download it, or are merely accessing it. You can choose not to provide certain information when using the App but please note that you then might not be able to take advantage of many of ModBubble’s features.
Any personal information provided to or gathered on the Mobile application is controlled by us and from time to time, our parent companies, subsidiaries, or affiliates.
Information collected by ModBubble
Modbubble collects personally identifying information and data about individuals, their company, and their company’s demographics (“personal information”) including (i) when you provide information to ModBubble, such as when you register or sign up for any of our products such as subscriptions, e-mails, contests, newsletters, memberships, RSS Feeds, content delivery via sms text or other technologies, webcasts, White Papers, online seminars, conferences, participation in discussion boards or other social media functions on the App and other communications with ModBubble (by phone, e-mail or otherwise from time to time), (ii) when you register or sign up to the App your personal information will be known to ModBubble, (iii) when you report a problem with the App.
The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address, phone number, other contact information, financial and payment card information, Internet protocol (IP) address, personal description, photograph, live chat messages, telephone conversations, product and service selections and orders or other things that identify you individually.
With regard to each of your visits to the App we may automatically collect the following information: technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your device to the Internet, your login information, browser type and version, operating system, platform and version, time zone setting; information about your visit, including, for example, how often you visit and what pages of the app you go to including date and time; products, features, users you viewed or searched for; page response times, system errors, length of visits, page interaction information (such as scrolling, taps), and methods used to browse away from the App and any phone number used to call our customer service number.
We may add other information that we collect from third party sources to enhance and/or update the information that you provided to ModBubble. We may also work with third parties (including, for example, business partners, sub-contractors in technical, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers, credit reference agencies) and may receive information about you from them.
We may place online tracking technology such as a “cookie” in the browser files on your device. A cookie is a small piece of unique alphanumeric identifier information sent by a web server to a web browser, which enables the server to collect information from the browser. Cookies cannot be executed as code or used to deliver a virus. Other servers cannot read them and personal information cannot be gathered from them
If you do not wish cookies to be placed on your device, then they can be disabled in your web browser. The option to do so is normally found in your browser’s “security settings” section. However, please note, permanently disabling cookies may hinder your use of the App as well as our websites and other services.
Third Party Content
ModBubble makes available a large library of content provided to us by third parties. In return for access to this content, we may ask that you provide us with personal information. When accessing content contributed by a third party, your personal information may be shared with those third parties, and the information will be governed by those parties’ privacy policies as well as ours. ModBubble, nor its parent company, nor any of its subsidiaries or affiliates, does not bear any responsibility for any actions or policies of such third parties. If you do not wish to have your information shared with a third party, please do not access third party content on the Application.
ModBubble users should be aware that when they disclose personal identifying information in online in-app communities or other areas that are publicly accessible by others, that information can be collected and used by others and may result in unsolicited messages from other posters or parties. ModBubble nor its parent company or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates are not responsible for any information that you provide in the above areas.
We will not intentionally collect or maintain, and do not want you to provide, any information regarding your medical or health condition, race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs or other sensitive information.
Children’s Online Privacy Protection
Our services and the Mobile Application are are not designed for or directed to children under the age of , and we will not intentionally collect or maintain information about anyone under the age of .
Use of Information by ModBubble
We will use this information:
- to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us and to provide you with the information, products and services available through the app;
- to provide you with information about other services we offer that are similar to those that you have already purchased, accessed or inquired about;
- to provide you, or permit selected third parties to provide you, with information for marketing related purposes about goods or services we feel may interest you. We may also send invitations to webcasts and other events run by us or third parties with whom we organise events. If you are an existing customer, we may contact you by electronic means (e-mail, SMS, in-app, social media etc.) with information about services we feel may be of interest to you.
- to notify you about changes to our service;
- to ensure that content from the Mobile Application is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your device.
Information we collect about you.

Information you give to us. We will use this information:
- to administer the App and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, information analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes;
- to improve the App to ensure that content is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your device;
- to allow you to participate in interactive features of our service, when you choose to do so;
- as part of our efforts to keep the service safe and secure;
- to measure or understand the effectiveness of advertising we may serve to you and others, and to deliver relevant advertising to you;
- to make suggestions and recommendations to you and other users of the App about services that may interest you or them.
Information we receive from other sources.
We may combine this information with information you give to us and information we collect about you. We may us this information and the combined information for the purposes set out above (depending on the types of information we receive).
Disclosure of your Personal Information
We may share your information with our parent or affiliate companies and selected third parties including:
- Business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors for the performance of any contract we enter into with them or you.
- Advertisers and advertising networks that require the personal information to select and serve relevant adverts to you and others.
- Analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimisation of the App.

We may also disclose your personal information to third parties in the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal information to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets; or if ModBubble, the ModBubble parent company and its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal information held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.
How we store your Personal Information
ModBubble is committed to industry best practices approaches concerning security measures to prevent the loss, misuse and alteration of the information in our possession. We use various security measures to protect the information we collect, as appropriate to the type of information, including encryption, firewalls, and access controls. Visitor textual information is encrypted during transmission, our company databases are accessible only by persons who have entered into and are bound by a confidentiality and nondisclosure agreement with ModBubble.
All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of the Application, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.
Transfer of your Personal Information
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to the Mobile Application; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
You have the right to ask us not to process your personal information for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your personal information) if we intend to use your personal information for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by checking certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your personal information. You can also exercise the right at any time by contacting us at [email@example.com].
The ModBubble app may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these policies before you submit any personal information to these websites.
You have the right to access any personal information held about you. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.
We always endeavour to make sure that the information we hold about you is accurate and up to date, if you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to us or e-mail us as soon as possible, at the above address. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
Changing your Preferences.
Users who later decide they want to opt-out of receiving communications from ModBubble via one or all of the methods described above (see: Use of Information by ModBubble), or otherwise change their preferences may do so by contacting [firstname.lastname@example.org]. In addition, at any time you may “opt-out” of receiving communications via your mobile phone or email by clicking the unsubscribe link of any individual message you may receive. We will use our reasonable endeavours to remove your personal information from our marketing mailing list within 5 business days of receipt of your withdrawal of consent.
If you request that we terminate your registration and/or cancel your account, ModBubble will delete your personal information that we have in our records.
